Our 3rd Project this semester. This project was a cut out collage animation that is set to a dream. Mine starts out as actually falling into the dream state and the journey to the dream world and then proceeds to few chunks of dreams that I have had before. I really liked doing this kind of stop animation. Although I didn't realize that the camera was only set up for a seven field so you can see the register in the back ground, but oh well. I am very pleased with this project and would like to do more animation like this.
This is part of my Expressive drawing class project. The project was to pick an emotion and I pick 'love". This is just a traditional charcoal drawing and is only part of the final project. So stay tuned to see the final.
just another sketch becoming the victim of Playing in Photo Shop. This was gear a little in the heart of Valentines day, for my special Lady. Monica. Your amazing my love and I couldn't be more lucky to have you. I was playing with more techniques. This time I took my original line sketch and just painted around it. I think it came out pretty good.
This was the first I piece did with my wacom. Im still getting used to it tho. I think the little kid came out the best, the dinosaur is....well. the good news is im still working on it. I did change it alot tho... got rid of the cowboy!
This was a project for my Expressive Drawing class. The project was on angst and i had been wanting to do a piece about child abuse for a while. The piece is a mixture of traditional and digital media. This was a bit of a change for my from my usual style as some of you can tell.
This was a composite animation of our Fire, Wind and Smoke project redone. I was working on this bunny running for another project and didn't have any ideas for this project so I decided to kill two birds and figure out all the movements of this character.
This was a project for our Illustration Class. The topic of the article was "How Star Women Build Portable Skills". I do realize that this is a little sexist, but Im just a little lacking in the creative symbolism. So please forgive me. Im kinda pleased with this one. Im really getting back into playing with Photoshop. so yay...
This is my first installment of "Playing with Photoshop". This isn't my most amazing work, but i do think its a very creative character "The Artful Badger". not my character, I must admit, but still a fun one. I did this commission for a lady in my office. She said she really liked it, so heres hoping. I didn;t go too crazy with the color, because she said she was going to convert it to black and white either way. so yay...
This was my first project after a long break. Im ganna be honest and say that this wasn't very good. Figuring out the technical stuff for the fire and especially the smoke, which looks more like fabric, was frustrating. I think I'm happiest with my wind (the cape) even tho there are many problems. I had a lot of trouble with this one. soo... yay..... Not my best work...
This was basically a little wake-me-up for this semester, and a look at what I don't wan to happen...
This one was just a drawing from photograph of a little girl at my mom's daycare. I thought she looked like she was in deep thought. I do realize that the accuracy of the drawing itself is a little off. It actually started off as an expressive drawing project , but after much deliberation I decided it wasn't "expressive" enought. enjoy.
